yeah so today is the last day of 2004 ... i remember a year ago amanda told me, "i'm glad its 2004." and i asked her why. and she said "because i like writing 4s, and now i get to write it on all my papers." hahahahaha.

yeah so emily's year in review:

january - nothing eventful; nothing ever happens in january.  oh my sister turned five. there you go.

february - ho co gt choir ... fun times. I'D DIE FOR YOUU haha our fashion catwalks and that annoying girl with the sunglasses in the middle of winter ... whooo and the kettle corn.  oh yeah it was a leap year, wasn't it?

march - wahoo happy st patty's day. hehee. oh yeah, lacrosse probably started.

april - another uneventful spring break ... oh chamber choir adjudications, i think.

may - HERSHEY PARK!!! haha that was a fun day.  mom graduated from nursing school, which was really great, plus i got to miss school.  lacrosse ended, i think my scoring record was 4 goals and 7 assists. did the bulk of our filming for the cspan thing, and spent about 4723094729 hours at karens house editing it ... or more like lauren and i watching karen edit and yelling at her ... hehehe

june - school ended! said goodbye to middle school.  won third place in the cspan thing! yay! so we went to dc and were interviewed for that special and got $1000 to boot ... of course we had to split it but thats okay.  i think field hockey camp was here too.

july - went to amherst with karen!  had too much fun ... lol ... hopefully i can go back sometime. yeah i think that was all, i was there for a really long time so yeah.

august - outer banks! had fun with the family, the lands, and elizabeth ... oh and we swam in the hurricane which was fun.  they started work on our house (dun dun dunnn) and started school. ughh waking up at 6 am ... grr. tried out for field hockey but ended up playing volleyball instead, what do you know

september - ended up co-captaining with terri played a lot of volleyball, got into the swing of things with school, house is under construction

october - volleyball ended at the end of the month, sad sad.  halloween happened.  actually it was a dud halloween i ate too much candy. hehe. house still a wreck.

november - birthday! went to new york with my mom which was a lot of fun.  first quarter ended, yeah. house is STILL a wreck.

december - christmas, of course!  the house is finished! (a miracle) winter break, and new years is today.

yeah so thats about it ... going to terri's tonight to ring in the new year which should be fun fun fun ... oh yeah finally got the pics posted online so if you want to look at them tell me

i'm really bored so i feel like updating. hehe.

yeah thanksgiving is tomorrow ... which is AWESOME because we're going to the harps which is loads of fun. and i'll get to see julie and nat which is great. of course, theres great food, and who could pass that up?

oh yeah i turned fourteen. whoopdeedoo. too bad everyone else is fourteen already.  and the addition is going to be done next weekend after they install the new floors.  we got our plumbing fixed so we have water in our kitchen for the first time in three weeks, which also entails that our dishwasher hasnt worked for three weeks and now it finally works.  no more eating off of paper plates!!! but yeah, the addition is really nice and i cannot wait until its done so my house is back to normal ...

school is fine.  i got 2 Bs first quarter in bio and goem.  looks like i'm going to be the liberal arts major ... but i got an A in hum!  of course the paper i turned in a few days ago was crappadooey so yeah that might not happen again. volleyball is over ... we had a losing record because we were pretty bad (hehe) but thats ok.  not playing any winter sports and i didnt try out for club which is unfortunate because i found out i might have made it ... grr.  well i dont know about lacrosse in the spring yet but i have no one to practice with because none of my friends play.  so yeah .. if you want to practice give me a call. cause i need it. badly.

we just heard about redistricting ... which is so gay because a lot of my friends are getting moved especially STEPHANIE who is going to come live in my closet.  i might not be getting redistricted but ughh it was just so stupid.

okay well we're having tacooos so i'm ouut.

summer is over.  very unfortunate.  well here's a very rare update ...

hockey tryouts were blah.  i made first cuts but not final.  sad sad.  well then i was talking to sam and she told me freshman volleyball needed more players and i've played a bit so i talked to mr. moy and tried out.  and i made it! and terri and i are cocaptains! so i'm very happy about that and maybe not making hockey was a good thing after all.  who knows ... i'll be the next kerri walsh.  HAHAHAHA like that will happen. 

school started last monday.  its not really very much different, other than the fact that people are taller and the hallways are more crowded.  everything seems so rushed.  and the real workload hasn't kicked in yet so i'm scared.  because i probably won't have a life.  not that i do right now, but you know what i mean. 

an average school day: i wake up at 6 am. ((kills self)) get ready, catch the bus at 6:55.  most of the time my bus gets lost because my bus driver is an old crazy lunatic who has no idea what he's doing so we usually get to school like five minutes before it starts.  yep.  so first period i have health with mr. beil which is good because i have a good table.  second period is journalism which i like. third period is geometry ... don't get me started on that one.  4A and 4B are both hum which is ok i guess but its just so long.  fifth is french which i really like, and sixth i have bio which my teacher knows less than i do.  then when school ends i have an hour and a half until volleyball starts.  so i meet terri at her locker and then we change into our stuff, and then i usually get something to eat from the vending machine and we pile ourselves onto the mats in the auxillary gym.  i attempt to do some homework but i can never concentrate because a bunch of guys always come in and play basketball.  and they're loud.  so at 3:10 we kick all the guys in and set up the net which usually takes us a long time because we always mess up.  and then we have practice.  and then i get home at 5:30 and do my homework. lovely, i know.

well i just realized the laundry is beeping so i have to go. bye!

well its summer ... the first week i did red white and blue which was fun.  then the day before fourth of july i went to amherst with karen for two weeks which was awesome.  after i came back i went to the pool and bfs, just basically hung around, and then last week i went to the outer banks which was great as usual.  this week i'm not doing much but i have captain's practice for hockey in the mornings and a few babysitting jobs lined up.  tryouts next week!! ahh i'm so nervous.  for my half mile, i clocked in at 3:45 which is good enough for me, but ughh i dont know.  there's 50 girls trying out for jv which is A LOT.  oh well.  going to watch soap operas .... hahahaha. hey, they're entertaining!

we're FRESHMEN everybody!

not that its necessarily a good thing ... but heck it sounds nice.  the ceremony was really great - especially lauren's speech which was fabulous.  congrats to all the principal awards people!  the dance was awesome.  everyone looked so great and so happy and so gorgeous.  if i ever want to remember eighth grade, i will remember last night because everyone was beautiful and everyone was friends with each other.  despite the fact i got coke spilled down the side of my dress, it was great. 

this morning was sad.  the food was good.  if i made you cry, i am very sorry.  i just couldn't help it! (haha sam.)  i must have hugged about half the grade and even though we were all sobbing like idiots we were still cool *wink*. i was so sad leaving.  yeah, i know its just middle school and that i'm going to see everyone next year, but i dont care.  we were one big family today.  it didn't matter if you hadn't talked to a person in a year.  you just went up and gave them a huge hug and said "good luck next year."  that to me was really great.
